Countdown to VITRUM

Few weeks before the opening of VITRUM 2023: from 5 to 8 September, at Fiera Milano Rho, we will meet to discuss innovation, technology and, of course, sustainability.

Innovation and sustainability

The market has not been unable to accept a technology that is not sustainable and this, for us, goes hand in hand with automation and energy saving. These are matters that our machines face and develop with brilliant and performing solutions.

Smart machines for smart companies

The margins grow not only due to the speeding up of some steps of the work-flow, but also due to the minimization of errors and the saving in working time.

“Smart” machines are able to connect to a network, to process data and exchange information with other production plants for the management of their life cycle. They also simplify processes, reduce human error and intervention, increase ease of use and decrease machine downtime.

Thanks to the remote assistance, they give the operator or the technical assistanc the possibility to connect from other locations to intervene on the machine and the process, also preventively.

On stage at booth H24/K27, Hall 7

Next to our sales and technical staff, in the front row, there will be our straight edger mod. FPS50R, the automatic double edger mod. BFP20 and the glass loader mod. CVB35

The straight edger mod. FPS50R, with 10 grinding wheels, allows the processing of thicknesses from 3 to 55mm, for glass sheets with a minimum size of 100x100mm and a maximum weight of 1,800kg.
The machine performs grinding and polishing of the flat edge and arrisses, 45° chamfers and cerium oxide polishing. Among the optionals available that you can see at the fair there will be the thickness control device.
In the FPS50R model, the combined clutch and thickness control system prevents the entry of glass sheets of different thickness from the one set by stopping only the inlet conveyor, without compromising the glass sheets already being processed.

Automatic double edger mod. BFP20 and glass loader mod. CVB35

The BFP20 grinds and polish the flat edge with arrisses  automatically while the glass loader is specifically designed to automatically place the glass sheets positioned vertically to a horizontal rolling table.
A motor variator controls the roller conveyor and  synchronize it with the double edger.

Milan Glass Week: another good reason

Aren’t technology and innovation enough? Another good reason to join us in Milan, this time between 4 and 10 September, is the "Milan Glass Week" with a program of events and initiatives aimed at all, involving the excellence of the Made in Italy glass industry, from those of artistic and craft glass, to the industrial and technological.

In conclusion
Many optional extras and configurations are available for all our machines, in order to adapt them as much as possible to your needs in the interest of customization and work optimization.

We are waiting for you to discover these and many other advantages of a technology that, for over 50 years, represents the Made in Italy in the world.
